EXHIBITION – CRYSTALLISATIONS

When historic pieces from museum collections are combined with contemporary ceramics... Pieces decorated with crystalline enamels - better known as "crystallisations" - were a huge success throughout Europe at the end of the 19th century. The Faïencerie of Sarreguemines took advantage of this craze to develop its own production.
This new exhibition explains this specific technique in greater detail and offers a fresh look at works that remain a source of inspiration for 21st century ceramists.
